The Kondody Group began as Kondody Autocraft in 1973, starting with just one bus and growing to a fleet of 30. Today, it is Kerala’s largest bus body builder, known for manufacturing comfortable, low-maintenance school and college buses, and has also expanded into the tour operator sector.

Initially relying on neighboring states for bus bodies, Kondody Autocraft started as a manual unit in Kottayam and evolved into a modern facility renowned for quality and technical expertise. With the capacity to produce 700 buses annually, the company focuses on innovation—introducing Fibre Reinforced Plastic to improve design and prevent water leakage.

Specializing in 20 to 70-seater buses suited for Kerala’s climate, Kondody Autocraft strictly follows bus body code AIS-052. The company is driven by experienced leaders, including Founder  Tom Thomas and Managing Director Rahul Tom, who guide its ongoing growth and innovation.
